Not for everyone...
This setup may work for you if you're the only one using the rig and you only use one size bag. In my experience, adjusting the height of the bag is fundamental for speed bag work especially if you're new to speed bags. You need to adjust the height if you change the bag size, inches matter for optimal technique. I have 90" Monster RM-4 rack and it won't work for the majority of the people that have this rack. Per Rogue's customer support: "Thanks for reaching out to us. The top of the speed bag is going to sit about 22" below the top of the rack it is mounted to. This puts the center of the speed bag at around 28" below the top of your rack, or around 62" (5' 2") up from the ground." I'm 6'1" and my wife is 4'8" and we use different size bags, this setup doesn't work for either of us. I'd need to squat down and she'd need to grow about 6 inches. I went out and solved this problem on my own. I mounted an XMARK speed bag rig to the rear of my rack using a 43" crossmember for the top mount and another cross member for the bottom support and all 1" HW and it is rock solid, no vibration. I can adjust from 52" to 79" inches measuring from the floor to center of a medium bag. If I change to an xs, small or large bag, no problem, I can adjust from a fraction of of an inch to a couple of feet. Note the photo with the bench inclined, the rigs at the top setting and it's sitting at the top of rack and out of the way. The only rub is that you need a drill press to drill the 1" holes in the xmark angle iron mounts that came with the rig - a hand drill won't work. You should start with a smaller bit, e.g. 1/4" and increment up to the one inch bit. If you don't have a drill press, take it to a local machine shop, it's worth it - this not a trivial endeavor for most people. I am blown away by this setup, it's an excellent fit in the RM-4 rack and it doesn't impact any of the functionality in how we use the rack in our home gym. Of course this may not work for everyone, do your home work. Take a look at the photos of my setup, I bench in the back of the rack and regardless of incline or flat it doesn't get in the way, I have a Surplus Strength pulley rig and it also doesn't interfere with that. I squat in the front of the rack and can raise the platform high enough so I won't stumble into it. Everlast and Rogue should have been able to come up with a better solution especially at this price. Mark

Perfect, stable easy to adjust
Super stable, I don’t move the height around, so this is perfect. If I did it only takes minutes. I use the bolts to make it as stable as possible.

Extremely Stable Platform
Non-rig mount. 3x3 strip mounted to 5/4 Ipe. Total elimination of any vibration. Oak platform is rock solid and upper frame sections are outstanding. Seriously, zero vibration. The added detente pin is a great safety feature that Rogue added to the design — and it allowed me to mount without assistance. Exceeded all expectations. Used the Everlast Pro Swivel with a Cleto Reyes bag

Very happy with speed bag platform.
The platform is very well built, and when it’s on the rack doesn’t shake the house. I would have liked to have gotten another bag but when you clicked on the offering for a new speed bag, it brought you to a description of a speed bag bladder. Obviously I didn’t want just a bladder. It was a little confusing, so I just skipped it.

Think about the height of your rack
Product is great. Have to buy a strip to wall mount though now as I can’t mount it high enough on my rack to use (I’m 6’5” and an idiot).

Not for someone 6' or taller
For how far it hangs down its not possible to be used mounted to the rogue monster rig.

It looks like you have the RML-490C, our Monster Lite Rack that uses 90" uprights. We do recommend keeping the total height of your rack in mind when purchasing the speed bag platform.
